The Theatre Program at Maine Arts Academy allows students to
explore all aspects of the collaborative theatre-making
process. Classes focus on acting, directing, playwriting, design,
stage management, and creating original work.  Whether the
student hopes to make a career in theatre, or merely wants to
explore theatre as a means of personal enrichment and self-
expression, this program supports both goals.  Classes are taught
in a supportive environment, allowing students to gain skills while
focusing on creative problem-solving, communication and self-
expression. We mount at least two full productions a year.
