Arts Pathways
Dance Pathway
Whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancers, students will be able to experience a variety of genres and fitness classes and may participate in creating choreography. Our dance students perform in recitals and an annual show.
Music Pathway
The Music Pathway offers study in both instrumental and vocal music. Through studio classes and participation in Ensembles, students experience various performance opportunities throughout the year, including recitals and concerts.
Theater Pathway
The Theatre Program at Maine Arts Academy allows students to explore all aspects of the collaborative theatre-making process. Classes focus on acting, directing, playwriting, design, stage management, and creating original work. Whether the student hopes to make a career in theatre, or merely wants to explore theatre as a means of personal enrichment and self-expression, this program supports both goals.
Visual Arts Pathway
The Visual Arts Pathway celebrates the process of making art through concentrations in Visual Arts, Photography, Graphic Design, and more. Students gain experience with different media types through combining production and theory-based courses. Students have opportunities to show, market, and sell their artwork.
